We believe that all children should have access to the learning experiences, which we present to them regardless of race, gender or religion. To this end we encourage children to learn about the people with whom they share the world and to respect their cultures and beliefs.
Children with special educational needs either possess particular gifts or require assistance to overcome particular difficulties. We aim to meet the individual needs of every child.
We encourage children to understand and respect those around them. Certain types of behaviour are unacceptable and we take time to carefully explain why this is so to the individual concerned. We encourage children to be independent and self-disciplined and to negotiate their way through disagreements.
Under the Children’s Act we have a responsibility to protect children in our care, and we must report any incidents or suspected incidents of abuse to (OFSTED) Social Services Department.
